Cookie Policy
The storefront uses necessary cookies and browser storage for eligibility, cart and account continuity, order confirmation, storefront preferences, and referral attribution. Self-hosted Umami provides cookieless aggregate measurement.
Essential storage
Necessary storage remembers that eligibility was confirmed, keeps a Medusa cart available between pages, maintains account or checkout sessions, and preserves the route requested before the confirmation step. Session storage may retain a completed-order snapshot long enough to render the confirmation screen.
Other first-party identifiers may remember store preferences, an approved referral source, or a return path. Their duration varies by purpose. Blocking or clearing necessary storage may sign the customer out, empty the browser-side cart reference, or require eligibility confirmation again.
Cookieless Umami measurement
The current storefront uses self-hosted Umami to measure aggregate page views, sessions, referrers, routes, basic browser or device information, and approximate geography. The current Umami setup does not set tracking cookies or store a persistent browser identifier.
Email and referral measurement
Resend operates storefront email delivery and contact preferences on the server rather than through a storefront browser tracker. Email links may include campaign parameters, and the delivery provider may record events such as delivery, bounce, or link activity according to the configured email settings.
An ambassador referral may set a first-party attribution cookie after an approved referral link is opened. The referral window is described on the ambassador-program page. Clearing that cookie can remove browser-side attribution.
